Groupy App Reviews

I just wanted a simple way if grouping my contacts and this delivers perfectly. Simple, easy to use, and its free. The only thing is when adding a contact to a group, If it doesnt have a first or last name, it comes up as null. Hopefully the next release will show other fields like company name? Still is great though.

I wanted a simple free application to create groups for my contacts and since I do not have a Mac, i couldnt do it. This application is perfect. Same problems with the null but it will probably be fixed soon. Great work.

Nice simple app. Nothing fancy and it does what it says. It Would be nice if you had capabilities to send mass text/emails to those people in the groups. Only issue is that I cant remove people or edit groups. Even if I remove the app, the groups remain. Unless im doing it wrong.

Latest upgrade solved the crashing problem. Back to being an ideal, simple app that makes the iPad Contacts app much more useful.

iPhone 4 IOS5 - to much slow working!! On the top in all group have empty contacts! That this?

iPhone 4S iOS 5.0 - This program crash when I want to create and save a new groupe. Please correct it !!!

Its free but needs work. Shows "(null) (null)" when only the company name is filled in whereas Contacts shows the company name. Makes it difficult to organize unless you use first name field for company name. Shouldnt show null at all. Also, Edit button should change to Done when editing groups. Style guide, anyone?

I tried to figure this program out and it made no sense to me. Then I re-read someone elses review and I finally got it. This App allows you to group your other (already installed) Iphone contacts. So its a little weird at first. You group them with this program and see the results with your regular contact list. After you get the swing of it, its not bad. My only problem is that you cant add companys to a group. The app is only showing peoples names unless as mentioned by others its one of those "null" entries at the bottom of the list. If you want to have a quick place to look for "Family", "Friends", etc... This will do the trick for you. The app shows lots of promise and Im looking forward to those "nulls" becoming business names soon :)

If it would just get one update that allowed you to send the group a text message by one or two clicks and email also. I need the text more than the email do this and I will rate higher. It will be perfect!!

This one is lame if you have 100s of contacts.. When you setup a group, all this app does is place a check mark by that contact. ALL OF YOUR CONTACTS ARE SHOWN (looks just like your standard contact list, just with check marks). It would be sooo much better if only those contacts in the group were listed/shown. I appreciate that this was free because I would be really upset if I spent $$ on it.

I need searching name

Most people dont understand this app. But it is great because: •It lets you edit the name if your groups. I havent seen another do this. •When adding to you group, YOU CAN SEE which ones are already added (via checkmarks) so you dont re-add by accident. •This app is FOR EDITING, NOT FOR VIEWING. Understand that. You need to use the native app for viewing (or whichever other app you prefer). It does what it claims. Its not a group mailer, its not a standard contacts app. Its a GROUP EDITOR. 

This is the easiest app to group contacts. Anyone with half a brain can use it. Its a great suppliment to the contacts app that came with my Itouch.

After creating the groups and adding people I opened the Contacts app and their were the groups!! Thanks, recommending this to everyone!

I simply wanted to be able to create contact groups for easy access vs searching through all my contacts, and while you can do this through iTunes, its a pain in the ...apps. Groupy lets you create contact groups and easily add contacts to those groups which (and heres the good part) can be accessed directly from the native iPhone contacts app!

It works perfectly and easily without any issue. Thanks!!!

This week I just upgraded my Touch to version 4 and Groupy doesnt work. I was really happy with it so I hope they upgrade soon. I got spoiled & now I have to scroll thru all my contacts instead of being able to break it into categories. Please update soon! I love the program.
